My Story: Where Passion Meets Purpose
As a lifelong educator with over 15 years in special education, my heart has always been rooted in helping diverse learners thrive. I’ve worked across a range of inclusive classrooms, and through each IEP meeting, breakthrough moment, and challenging day, my mission has remained the same: empower every student to access learning in a way that works for them.
When I discovered the potential of AI in education, I saw more than a trend—I saw a tool that could unlock new opportunities for students who have often been left behind by traditional methods. That realization sparked a new chapter in my journey: one where I fuse special education expertise with AI-powered innovation to transform teaching and learning.
My Expertise: Bridging Special Education and EdTech
I specialize in applying AI tools to enhance accessibility, streamline teaching, and foster more inclusive co-teaching partnerships.
Here’s what I bring to the table:
-Master’s in Special Education
-Supervisor Certification
-Certified in AI for Educators & Instructional Leadership
-Expert in tools like MagicSchool, Diffit, Canva, and more
-Proven track record of delivering professional development that engages, equips, and energizes educators
Whether it’s using AI to support IEP planning, scaffold instruction, or help teachers reclaim their time, I help schools use tech with intention.
My Philosophy: AI with Heart
AI is not here to replace teachers. It’s here to empower them.
I believe in using AI ethically, responsibly, and inclusively, especially in special education spaces where every decision must be grounded in empathy, privacy, and equity.
Through EdTechPowered, I advocate for thoughtful AI integration that elevates collaboration, reduces burnout, and brings joy back into teaching, without ever losing sight of what matters most: the students.
